Shelby Neves is the USN Face of Fitness 2017 and 2017 Winner of the Arnold Classic Line Up.
I am the USN Face of Fitness and my passion lies in the fitness industry. I am halfway through my Bachelor of Education degree. I’m also studying towards my personal training and specialised nutrition diploma.
I recently came into the fitness industry and have done four IFBB competitions since then. I love interacting and socialising with people, always up for learning new things! As much as I enjoy being around people I am independent and do love time alone. I believe I’m extremely goal-driven and will put my all into something I want to achieve or obtain.
My goal is to remain in the fitness industry for as long as possible. Family is also exceptionally important to me of course and one of my many life goals is to have one of my own one day.
I feel very strongly about certain things and I’ve learnt that if you want something you have to go out and get it, opportunities and potential experiences may only come around once and I’m all for taking chances, as long as there are no negative or bad consequences of course! On the other hand, I’m a very soft and caring person and I will always be willing to help someone out where I can.
Every day I aim and hope to inspire or motivate someone out there to chase their dreams. To not give up on what they want and to live their life to the fullest because in the blink of an eye my life changed for the better. Having won the Face of Fitness, was all because of entering the competition. It has been the most incredible, rewarding journey and it has grown and shaped me more than I thought possible.
I’ll end off with one of my favourite life mottos. I carry it with me and live each day by – ” Never give up on the things that make you smile.”
